The space
Most Nashville rentals give you a yard and a grill. Southern Stars gives you a full rooftop deck lit up at dusk with string lights and a 'Nashville' sign, built for a crowd that wants the skyline as a backdrop to the whole weekend. Inside, the open-concept living area runs straight into the dining room and kitchen, so the cook is never cut off from the group.
A sectional, mounted TV, and a dedicated game room with a pool table, ping pong, and shuffleboard keep everyone in the same orbit long after dinner's done. Two upper-level balconies off the back of the house give you a second spot to step out for air between rounds.
Four bedrooms work through the house's western streak in different ways, from a tufted king headboard to green velvet and patterned wallpaper, with bathrooms carrying cowboy hat wallpaper and a black wallpaper-and-martini-glass theme.
Spend the day at the Parthenon or Centennial Park, grill out on the rooftop as the sky turns orange behind the Nashville sign, then head down for pool table and shuffleboard rounds before everyone splits off to their own bed for the night.
